    Example: Dog with Fridge Sensitivity

    Your dog cowers when the refrigerator cycles on. Place a "Fridge" marker in the kitchen corner and log "Anxious" behaviors there. The heatmap will show the sensitivity zone expanding across adjacent cells.

    Example: Cat Avoiding Router Area

    Your cat won't walk near the WiFi router. Mark the router location, log "Territorial" behaviors nearby. You may notice the whole hallway shows sensitivity.

    Example: Multiple Appliances

    In apartments, multiple devices create overlapping fields. Track each appliance separately, then compare sensitivity zones. Look for areas where behaviors cluster.

    How does this work?

    The grid divides your floor plan into cells. Each cell tracks what appliances occupy it and what behaviors you log there. The heatmap colors cells based on behavior frequency - red for anxious/alert, green for calm, yellow for mixed.

    Is this measuring actual electromagnetic fields?

    No. This mapper tracks observable behaviors that may correlate with electromagnetic sensitivity. It does not use sensors or measure field strength. It's a behavioral observation tool.

    Can I track multiple pets?

    Yes. Use the clear button to reset the grid, or use separate browser storage for each pet. We recommend creating separate maps for comparison.

    What if I don't know my grid dimensions?

    Start with the preset that matches your space. Walk the perimeter with a measuring tape. Count how many 1-foot segments fit in each direction. Enter those numbers and adjust as needed.

    Can I use this for cats?

    Yes. Cats often show more localized sensitivity. Use smaller grid cells if possible. The same behavior categories apply - just observe more closely for hiding, pouncing, or territorial behaviors.
